The Challenge
Client required a comprehensive and integrated electronic marketing and CRM solution for all its properties administered from a corporate level sustaining Brand integrity.
The Solution

Using ZMail software, ZDirect integrated with client's PMS System and both the corporate and property level web sites. Solutions were implemented establishing property level access for General Managers so they could easily deploy last minute offers to fill up unused inventory during periods of low occupancy. The Brand's Advertising Agency was also granted limited access to the ZMail user interface to facilitate collaborative efforts such as uploading HTML newsletters, which were in turn emailed to the Brand's subscriber list on a monthly basis. eCRM fulfillment, or electronic customer relationship management functionality, to include confirmations, pre-arrivals, thank you letters, preference selection, and customer satisfaction surveys, was instituted. These sequences of event-driven auto-responders were very powerful and took advantage of ZMail's template designs, dynamic content capabilities and property level personalization. To summarize, the ZMail platform gave the Brand advanced electronic marketing and CRM functionality it did not previously have, which strengthened customer loyalty, expanded its customer base and dramatically increase ROI. Functionality was cost-effective, configurable and consistent with the Brand's mission statement. ZMail provided quantifiable tools to automatically reach and retain the client's customers.

Upgrade Email Marketing System

The Challenge
Florida owner of two 300-room Oceanfront hotels possessed an antiquated PMS system and was unable to send automated electronic email confirmations. As a result, the owners would spend thousands of dollars each month in postage and hard costs to mail hardcopy confirmations.
The Solution

ZDirect developed a custom interface for this Client with the PMS and POS system so as to automate the confirmation process and provide database centralization. In addition, the interface enabled the properties to deploy a comprehensive electronic marketing effort and ultimately stay competitive with resorts and destinations with significantly larger marketing budgets.

The Challenge
Diversified professional property manager had negative experiences with email marketing. He resorted to bulk email deployments with an unvalidated list, or had purchased questionable "lists" off the internet. The results were little to no bookings, significant investment, and a poor sense of the power of email marketing.

Managers at these properties struggled with the management of their data as they collected customer and inquiry data from numerous sources to include PMS, POS systems, property level and corporate web sites, booking engines, customer surveys and via in-house collection. The Challenge
The resort understood and had embraced email marketing best practices, yet was still experiencing a reduction on open, click-thru rates and bookings. It was suspected that a deficiency in deliverability was the root of the problem. Moreover, reporting was not made available to the mostly non-technical staff to fully understand the complexity of its efforts. Finally, as its opt-in list grew and national regulations on email authentication have become more complicated, the Resort found that getting its email messages to the inbox of its previous guests and inquiries was becoming very challenging. It became clear that the resort required a robust application that provided intuitive solutions, was easy to use and could handle the complexities of email deliverability.
The Solution

It was determined that the resort had retained a Tier I email service provider which had clientele that regularly engaged in SPAM practices. The IP space (or Internet Highway) that the resort was using was being blocked by major Internet Service Providers (ISPs), since it previously used by pornographers suffered. When the company switched and invested in ZMail by ZDirect, the resort immediately experienced a 95 to 98% efficiency of delivery rate due to the "clean" IP space ZDirect provided.
